Janette M. Capaci, ARNP, NP-C

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

Janette M. Capaci is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who completed her Advanced Practice degree in nursing at Saint Louis University. She is Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates.

Janette’s life has been dedicated to the education of nurses, patients and the community. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida at Tampa. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing, and is currently working towards her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Saint Louis University.

Janette has spent over a decade in nursing and patient care, with experience as a nurse at Venice Regional Medical Center and then in private practice. She has been a Health Instructor for the Sarasota County School Board; a Nursing Program Specialist Supervisor and Specialty Clinic Coordinator at the Sarasota County Health Department at the South County Clinic and an Adjunct Faculty Member at Manatee Community College and the University of South Florida at Tampa.

Janette was born in Passaic County, New Jersey. She relocated to Florida over eighteen years ago. Janette and her family have resided in South Sarasota County for over a decade where they are raising a family of three children. Janette is married to one of the Battalion Chiefs in the Sarasota County Fire Department. They reside in North Port and are active in both their community and homeowners association.

When Janette is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy boating, fishing, reading, walking, and outdoor activities. Janette is dedicated to providing a "woman’s caring touch in Urological care.”
